Beer-Flavorless Food-Marginal at best. Service-Non-Existent If you are staying in the area to ski, dont waste your time driving to del norte for this swill. Not worth it. Too over the experience to type it all out. Go here if you want a hoodie and a flat brim hat though, they could care less about food but they have trendy kid swag. *. One star.
Called in an order and had my husband pick it up. I started eating my stromboli and I noticed I was eating dough. So I called to let someone know and a woman answered the phone; I told her the situation and she said "what do you want me to do about it?" I asked for another stromboli to be made and went to pick it up thinking that this one was going to be awesome. I got home and checked the box and the dough was actually worse than the first one. (runny) The second stromboli also had olives inside which I did NOT order. I dont know of they were just having a bad night or what but it was HORRIBLE!!
We spend the summer in Creede and drive down to Del Norte once a week for dinner here. Some times it is crowded but you never have to wait long. I can't imagine why anyone who likes beer/pizza would find anything to complain about at this place. Can't wait until they move into their new building.
Get there early and be prepared to wait on a Friday or Saturday -- but it's so totally worth it! Great selection of beer and really good pizza! Small tables, small seating area - but that's the number of people they can reasonably serve. People need to lighten up. This is a must see/do in Del Norte!
Food is awesome but service is another story. Acted like they could care less if we ate there. We were a small party under 7 but waitress puts 7 on bill so gratuity is added so if not careful you may tip twice for terrible service. Its too bad because the place has great character and food. I do not drink so maybe that is why waitress was snooty.
