Believe the reviews. Terrific restaurant, but you wouldn't be able to tell from the front door or sign. It is attached to a motel. I had the Kung Pao scallops. They were cooked well. The flavors mixed wonderfully and it was a very large portion. The service was fine, although there were only a few other people in the restaurant. A dinner dish and soft drink costed $16 before tip.
Years ago, when we lived in this area, my mother and I would include dinner at the Lucky Garden Chinese Restaurant on our agenda for our regular "girls' night out" get-together - because the food was awesome and the service was efficient and friendly. When I recently had to travel to the Burlington area, I made it a point to stop off at the Lucky Garden. I was very pleased when I learned that the food was still just as awesome and the service was still just as efficient and friendly as I remembered it being years ago. Great food at a reasonable price - well worth the stop!
The other reviews are no lie. Go in and try it. Good stuff.
I have been traveling from coast to coast in search of the best foods stopping in various places and do i have to say this was a very excellent place to have stopped by. Looks empty but dont let that trick you very friendly place food is tasty and.great price is great.. Recommend this place.
Authentic Chinese food. The only other places you can find are the Chinatown in LA, San Francisco or New York. We have talked to the owner, who is actually from HongKong with years of cooking experience. We wish they move to Kansas city area that we can go more often.
