Short Story: If you are stopping to eat or sleep in Burlington, do not miss the opportunity to eat here, it is cheap, authentic, and amazing. Long Story: Stopped in Burlington for the night on a cross-country drive and my wife and I took a chance on this restaurant. Really, really glad we did. There aren't many choices in Burlington if you want a sit-down meal (basically this place, a steak house, and a Chinese buffet), and on first glace I never would have gone to this one. It's tiny and connected to a gas station and literally at the end of the road (but only 6 minutes from the hotels/exit). We had chicken burritos, mini soft tacos, and the Carne Asada fries (because other reviewers had mentioned them specifically). The fries might have been the best thing I have ever eaten, and my wife (who is Hispanic) said the rice, beans, tortillas, and salsa tasted like her grandmother's (which is a huge compliment). The staff was very nice, the food came out fast and fresh, and the only thing I was disappointed with was that I got too stuffed and had to leave some amazing food sitting on the plate. On par with the best authentic Mexican food I've ever eaten, seriously.
This small but great restaurant is worth the exit right off of the highway. The food and service was excellent. The Carne Asada Fries are so good.
