Probably been to City Café 45-60 times (before I moved out of the area). While it can be a bit pricey, I was never disappointed by the food and the service staff and owners were usually a lot of fun. It's easily the best restaurant in the area and my experiments in trying various menu items were always well rewarded. The City Café is a great Yuba City memory for me.
Food was bland had to add salt no flavor my daughter ordered rack of lamb it was gross. They took over an hour to bring our food. Definitely not worth the wait. The waitress was nice but she was nt efficient. And lastly I was attacked by mosquitoes.
Great food! Best chicken and waffles I have ever had. And they always treat me like family!
This place is wrapped like a christmas present. The decore is great. The food not so great!!!!
The plates are btwn about $15 - $20. The atmosphere is very relaxing in the patio seating with lots of greenery and water fountains. The food is superb and presented nicely. I'm not sure why the last reviewer had such a terrible experience bcuz our experience was great! This place is worth the price when you want a dinner with atmosphere and great food.
