While on vacation wine tasting, we stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Santa Rosa. We decided to visit the Nectar Restaurant and Lounge for dinner. It was located right next to the main lobby which made it convenient. It was a busy Friday evening and we didn't have reservations, but the friendly host, Hannah, immediately found us a wonderful table. It was located on the patio over looking the extraordinary view Nectar offers. Our server Carol made us feel comfortable and relaxed. She explained the entrees that the menu offers. My husband selected the Short Ribs and I choose the Vegetarian Lasagna. They were both amazing. Nectar Restaurant and Lounge is highly recommended by both of us.
I had lunch at Nectar with 4 of my friends. We paid for our check with 2 credits cards and when I check my account, I got charged for $90.98 for the $12.98 bill I had. What a rip-off. What if I did not check my bank statement? I called and they said they credited me for $78.00 but then another charge came in for for the actual amount of $12.98. I called again and told them that I should not be charge again because I am already covered from the first adjustment but they told me to call my bank. Now I have to do all the work from their mistake. How hard is it proces and $12.98 payment? Don't go there if you are not paying cash.... Service is very poor, not a lot of peiple but we waited for more than 30 minutes for our food and another 30 minutes for our check
Still just a nice hotel restaurant. Too noisy from the bar crowd.
The food is perhaps nothing to write home about but I gave them 4 stars because I really like their SF-like atmosphere.
