Loved the patio! And their chips and salsa are delicious.
Sandbar is the best restaurant on State St by far! The happy hour deals, service, food, drinks, night life, everything about it is perfect. I'm new to Santa Barbara and was walking State St when Sandbar caught my eye with the firepits and lights in the courtyard. All of the employees were so attentive and helpful. Best service I've ever received, hands down. It's a great place to hang out with friends, whether you want to go out for a casual drink and catch up or have a night out on the town! Loved everything about this place.
This place is seriously amazing. The have happy hour EVERY DAY, even on weekends. Their delicious appetizers are half off, and their drink deals are just awesome. I cannot get over how great service is here. The hosts are warm and welcoming, the servers and bartenders are personable and charismatic, and the managers are very on deck and genuinely care about your experience. Sandbar has such a fun, vibrant atmosphere. Come here if you want good food, sweet deals, great service, and fun!
Fun atmosphere, but don't be fooled by the happy hour menu on all of the tables -- those prices are only valid inside at the bar, not at any of the outside tablets. Tacky if you ask me. Just don't put those menus on the tables where the prices aren't relevant, or at least tell first time diners. Also - I was there with my boyfriend who has an ID from his home state, Georgia, which the waitress would not accept. So out of state diners, beware. Food and atmosphere was good, but overall, experience and customer service was lacking.
Sandbar has the best atmosphere, food, and service in Santa Barbara! Hands down! I have been there multiple times with friends and family, and have always left full and satisfied. Service is always great; they are super nice and helpful. The night scene is so much fun and happy hour drink prices are incredible. I always recommend Sandbar to anyone looking for a place to go out at night or eat and drink. Whoever is reading this go check it out!
