Great food, Great Service. Pricey though. But worth it every once in awhile. Husband recommends coffee Rib-eye, the dipping sauce he loved. Coconut Shrimp A+. Prime Rib yummy.
My partner and I go here for almost all of our special occasions. We love the prime rib dinner - the aus jus is delicious, the baked potato fixings are tasty, and every dinner comes with a yummy raspberry sorbet taster. And we always start with the homemade gazpacho - so good! The ambiance is really cute - old school 1930's-esque red booths and local brands all over the walls. We always enjoy our date nights here!
I'm not too big on meat like steak, but the Branding Iron is making me rethink that choice! The food was great, I was however a bit sad that I ordered their famous Gespacho, only for it to be served with stale chips. Maybe they can change my mind! But definitely a great spot in Merced
My Mrs. and I have gone here a few times. The lounge has a nice atmosphere, with seats and booths that you can relax easily while you have a drink The restaurant is comfortable and the service was just fine. As for the food? It's good and the sauteed mushrooms side dish we like to order is great. The prices are a little higher than Denny's, but that's to be expected and it won't break the bank. Over all, I give above average for a rating and I'm sure we'll be going plenty of other times.
Had dinner with the family and friends. As usual it was excellent and we all had a great time. My daughter had the coffee rubbed rib eye, which I tasted and loved, so I plan to try it the next time around. I had the fillet and it was perfect. One of my friends is now hooked on the coconut prawns and although I am not a sea food lover, I have to say they look so yummy and smelled the same. My daughter tried them and she agreed. There was also the baseball cut sirloin for my buddy Billy. He his hooked! This is such a fun and good place to eat and entertain. I always look forward to going and seeing the owners and their staff which are wonderful. I will be back soon, very soon!
