I'll start by saying it is a beautiful , tough course. You need to know what you are hitting into and the tee box nor scorecard tells you about trees in the fairways. Guess I could have driven out there and looked before I hit, but I was walking. The reason I give it 2 stars is because of the location. The 99 freeway splits the course and you are never in a quiet place. IF I ever played it again, I would bring ear plugs, and a range finder because its extremely loud from the freeway, and there are no yardage markers except at 150 yds. if this course was somewhere away from the freeway, I would play it often.
Worst experience ever!! Rude treatment by guy claiming to be owner!! He was yelling and putting finger in the fae of my nephew because he thought he was under 18. He was very unprofessional and apparently this happens often because when we went to a nearby course the workers there said they hear that alot!! Avoid this plae!!
Service is okay but the course is great. Tough greens and long par 5's and 4's not the best for beginners.
Dry creek is a good muni. tract with some great holes. The problem here is the management. The starters had no idea who was playing, who was on the tee, or any concept of spacing golfers out. The round took 5:30 hours, which explains everything. At first I thought maybe they are just having a bad day, but the twosome I was paired with explained that this was normal. Next which is worse the bartender was not helpful, or even nice. twice I waited for a beverage and twice I walked out. I would advise all to avoid this course on the weekends and enjoy the week days. thanks
I think this is one of the sac area's hidden gems. Lots of trees so keep 'em in the fairway.
