Wholey Ravioli-Italian Restaurant
Reviews
Went here for dinner with my family a few months back...it was dinnertime and the place was empty. That should have been our clue but no....we proceeded to order anyway. Mind you we ordered just simple low level Italian food that almost ANYONE should be able to duplicate in today's TV chef world; what we got was runny spaghetti that my son refused to eat (I tasted it and didn't blame him), slightly palatable but rather devoid of flavor lasagna, and a dry as hell chicken parmesan. The best part of the ENTIRE meal was the soup and salad. Sad part is we went here because all our friends were telling us to try it......with friends like these I don't want enemies!! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone with a palate.
Great place to eat.
Great food and service :-) going back for more. My family and I will have Wholey cater our wedding and I am excited!
We went out for our Valentine's Dinner a few days early to avoid the rush. I had the Chicken Gamberetti and thought is was wonderful. He the Chicken and Steak and loved it. My boyfriend is Sicilian so it takes a lot for him to say he really enjoys and Italian meal when we go out, because he is comparing everything to Grandmas cooking. He said he has had better soup but everything else was great. The staff was great the atmosphere was beautiful. I'll be honest we were nervous about stopping here on our way home because it is located in a grocery strip mall.
Horrible service. I went there at 2 PM and the restaurant was completely empty while the Chinese restaurant next door was packed. I asked to see a menu as I was really craving a meatball sandwich. The menu I was handed had that listed. I asked if I could have a seat and was brought a different menu which did not have a sandwiches section. I told the waiter I wanted to order a meatball sandwich. He told me that was on the to go menu, pointed at the door and told me it was to go. I asked why I couldn't order a meatball sandwich and eat it there and he repeated it was "for to go." So I "for to go" myself out of there and won't be back. I can't wait until I drive by and see a For Lease sign in the window. Hopefully Chef Ramsey doesn't waste his efforts on this place because this restaurant isn't fixable.
