Java Lanes was taken over by Kendall and Nicole Matheisen about a year or so ago from Bev and Jerry Martini, who decided to retire and take some much deserved time for themselves and family. I am happy to say that Kendall and Nicole are doing an excellent job of carrying on the tradition started by the Martini's of providing an excellent wholesome place that any member of the family can enjoy. You don't have to be a bowler to enjoy the sense of community provided by the people of Java Lanes, everyone welcomes you, first-time visitor, regular customer or even just the occasional drop in. They are all family and everyone is welcome. Of course, the food is great and the menu has been expanded to include many things that were not previously offered. I go there myself several times during the week to watch the grandkids bowl, one of which is now bowling as an adult and to have lunch or even dinner with friends..............The service is excellent, and if you wish, there is also a bar available...........service there is top rate as well...........I would have to say that Java Lanes and the folks of Java Lanes are the catalyst that make our small community of Corning the family friendly place that it is.
