Worst Customer Service! I made Valentines Day Reservations. Took my eife there and once there the place was overcrowded with tables due to Wedding Reception. Hostess wouldnt give Us the booth we wanted and seated us at a small cramped table. While eating the overpriced and mediocre food I witnessed the same Hotess seating another couple to the same booth we wanted! Overall...the best part of this restaurant was the cheesecake and chocolate cake.
Stay away! This place must write its own reviews. Do not go here. The food was not only bad but overpriced and poorly cooked. I ordered the salmon and was shocked at the size of the plate. The plate was huge and the salmon was the size of a silver dollar. The mashed potatoes simply tasted disgusting. Ok, the meal was bad, how about I drink away my anger? At $12 plus a glass, well, at least some quality. Wrong - cheap booze that gave me a headache in the morning. My bill was over $50.00, so what, if it would have been worth it, but it wasn't. The price is not really the issue: it's the feeling of being ripped off.
Do you want to see what 1980s dining in LA looked like? Steven's Steak House is definitely a place to go back in time. While most places lose their allure when they are outdated, Steven's seems to have no only resisted change but embraced it. And, because it has kept true to itself, people still come here. I ended up at Steven's on a whim during lunch and ordered a burger. For a place known for it steaks, I though the process of grilling a burger would prove no feat. Nonetheless, I ended up with a burger that was overly charred and lacking flavor. Though monstrous in size, satisfaction was not achieved because I simply could not get over the over charred taste.
I went there for Valentines with my sweetheart I had a great experience service was great dinner was great I definitely will go back again.
I was here in april 2014 and i have to say....it was amazing! Everyone was very polite, the prices are very moderate and the dishes were very delicious. If you order a simple steak, you get a soup/salad, a portion pasta and the steak. I tried eating a portion of rips and i wasn't able to eat all of them. This restaurant is awesome and if you go to los angeles, you have to go there for dinner!
