The Northern Pines Restaurant
Reviews
While traveling in the area, we took a group of 19 to Northern Pines for breakfast, and then went back for lunch. The service was outstanding, and the food was delicious...great menu! Everyone loved it!
Unexpected for sure based on the exterior, but came based on the other Google reviews. Get the green chile chicken or green chile mashed potatoes. Both are really good.
Been here for breakfast and dinner and both times they were great. From the hostess at the door to our waiters everything is a great example of great customer services. Breakfast selection is a wide range even for the pickiest of eaters they are bound to satisfy your taste buds. Having the French toast is a must one of the best I have had ever. Since breakfast was great I was not disappointed on dinner. I had a Ribeye steak with the fully loaded baked potato and fried mushrooms (Jason's suggestion to go with the steak). Steak was cooked to perfection topped with the garlic butter. Let's just say there is no need for A1 steak sauce. The baked potato was great and the fried mushrooms were the perfect combination. Since Flagstaff, does not have a real "Steakhouse" this is my recommendation for great steaks, services and experience. Restaurant is very cozy, warm and clean. Don't be fooled because it is in front of the Days Hotel.
My writing buddy and I come here all the time, at least once per week, and I can honestly say I haven't had a bad experience. My writing buddy is vegan, and the whole staff is really accommodating, which is great. I'm not vegan, so naturally the pork enchiladas are my favorite thing, and it always comes out perfect. It's a great place to spend some time, whether you live here in Flagstaff, or you're driving through on the 40 and you need a place to stop. Conveniently, this place is directly off the 40 on Butler.
Ok but nothing special. Clean and good service. Close to I-40 so fast access. Maybe a 6.5 out of 10.
