We had an older brunette lady for our sever and she had a very negative attitude. She got rude with my husband because he had to go look for her to get a refill. She got snide with my father in law too. We all ordered burgers because this is mostly a breakfast place and the lunch menu consists of hot and cold sandwiches, burgers and a couple of salads. Not a lot to choose from. She did not ask us how we wanted our burgers cooked and all 4 burgers were awful! Extremely over cooked and not seasoned and blah! They toasted all of our buns without even asking if we wanted our buns toasted. We asked for ranch dressing for our fries and what we got was disgusting. I don't know if it is their own homemade ranch, but it was not good. None of us finished our burgers they were so bad plus our rude waitress tried to sneak in an extra charge of $6.85 on our ticket! It was written on the ticket with no food description next to it so my father in law went up to the cashier and we found out our horrible waitress was trying to sneak in an extra charge. The food was awful and the service was awful and we will never go back
Phenomenal chicken fried stead breakfast skillet, and I should know because surveying chicken fried steak is a mission in life. I give it a 10 - better than Railroad Cafe in Flagstaff and Ranch House in Phoenix, and that's saying a lot. The waitress was a definite pro.
Kinda expensive for cafe, but decent food/portions. I had Benedict Eggs - delicious!
