Enjoyed the place, good food and good service.
Having grown up in Buckeye, I happen to love La Placita. I love their tacos and they have one of the best enchilada sauces in Az. I have learned though not to expect great service. I have found this to be the norm in many small towns. I just don't go with high expectaions for service, I go for the food. I hope that with the loss of the owner they will maintain what they do well.
Super great food! Wasn't overly crazy about the guacamole though. Their taquitos, beans, rice, and fried ice cream are super good though. Service was ok at best in the bar area. Somewhat rude on the phone when you call & they are busy.
The food here is horrible. They charge extra for salsa But the taco sauce is free. Don't you dare order a drink They charge my wife 7 dollars and 50 cents for a vodka and cranberry. That you could get anywhere else for 3 dollars and 50 cents. And no she did not order top shelf liquor.
Good food, a little pricey, service is iffy.
