Incredibly slow service, weak coffee, we got cream cheese Danishes which were ice cold.
Everything at this place tastes of faintly burnt plastic or coffee, maybe both. Whether I order a regular coffee or a latte it has a very distinct, weird, burnt taste to it. The other Sweet Bays aren't much better about the drinks they make but at least the other locations don't have that burnt smell or taste.

This is the worst coffee shop I visited on my way cross-country. I was looking for a spot to relax and enjoy an Americano. Bad news: the espresso machine was broken. More bad news: a woman in the coffee shop was allowing a yowling child to do... whatever he liked, including take all the bottles out of a refrigerator and line them up on the floor. OK. I got a coffee to go because the shop was not relaxing. More bad news: the coffee was tepid, and it tasted like hazelnut, as though they used the same machine to make hazelnut as regular and the flavor ended up where it didn't belong. I threw it out. Wasted money, wasted stop. The good reviews on this page were probably posted by the owner.
