Based on previous reviews by others, my wife was considering taking a group of ladies to Chuck's for lunch so we went on a scouting trip. Though busy, we were seated reasonably quickly during the lunch hour as there were a few empty tables and after a brief time, the wait person came and took our orders. I ordered one of the lunch specials and my wife ordered a salad and iced tea for both. Lunch specials are normally prepared ahead of time and held in hotel pans or warming ovens or at least par cooked to ensure quick service and salads are always prepared ahead of time for the lunch crowd for the same reason. So far, so good...the tea arrived quickly. After 20 minutes we noticed 4 tables that had arrived after us (one 15 minutes after us) were eating and our food had not arrived. My wife called our waitress over to find out why the wait and did not receive an answer that made sense to us...after another 5 minutes we decided to leave. We went to the cash register to pay for our drinks and was told there was no charge, however I believe in paying for what I use/consume and after paying ($4.00 for two iced teas) I let the lady know that I would be reviewing the restaurant based on what our experience had been. I'd like to tell you the food was worth the prices they were charging, but I can't...never got to taste the food and although the prices were not in line with normal prices for the area, neither were they unreasonable if the food was worth it...based on the number of folks at lunch, it is probably pretty good, however I'll never know as we didn't get premium service for premium prices. We won't be back and as a local that could have been quite a bit of revenue over the period of a year especially during the off season when the tourists depart and repeat business from locals help sustain a business during the slow periods.

Husband and I went there this past weekend. Food great!!! Husband got New York strip and I got sirloin...very juicy and tender, great grill taste. Homemade fries, awesome!!! very clean and great staff. We will go back....

Best filet mingon I have ever had. Great little restaurant with awesome food. When you go make sure to have some homemade pie.

One of the best places in town. Great blue cheese dressing . Have never gotten anything that was not of excellent quality.

I loved the food. The waitress was excepional. This place has not been open very long but I consider it to be one of those "off the beaten path secrets" of the locals. See for yourself. Just drive by during lunch hour. Parking lot full of cars.
