An avid enthusiast, Wig is always ready to answer your questions, cut through the lingo-babble that permeates the marketing and help you understand what you need to so you have the right information to make an informed decision. As was noted in a prior review, you won't be pressured into buying anything but you will be guided along the path to purchasing as Wig asks you questions that help him guide you towards a selection of bicycles suited to your tastes and purposes. Great selection and awesome service
I recently bought new bikes for myself, my wife, and my daughter from Wig's Wheels. I was initially a little apprehensive about going to a local shop, figuring I would get a better deal and service in Birmingham. Boy, was I wrong! If you’re looking for a new “better than Wal-Mart quality” bike, Wig’s is the place to go. “Wig” (the owner) is very knowledgeable, and gives good honest advice to those who don’t know a lot about what they’re buying. He did an excellent job of explaining technical stuff to us, I never felt like he was pressuring us into buying something we didn’t need, and he even offered to personally deliver our bikes to our house since we didn’t have a bike carrier. Oh yeah, and his prices are comparable to everywhere else I looked. If you live around the Anniston area, don’t waste a trip to Birmingham for your cycling needs, because you’ll probably need to look no further than Wig’s Wheels.
Was in from out of town and stopped by to ask about local trails. The owner was very helpful and friendly. they had a really nice selection of bikes and gear.
