I had one of the best seafood meals of my life in this small, unassuming cafe. Everything was excellent, from the super-fresh, macadamia-encrusted halibut to the red fingerling potato purée to the roasted asparagus. The rhubarb cake topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream was perfect. The chef's commitment to using only the freshest local ingredients makes all the difference between a good meal and an outstanding one. The Wildflower Cafe is worth a long drive from either Anchorage or Denali Park.
