Great beers here as anyone who is familiar with Denali knows. The food here is very good. I got the meatloaf and potatoes it was pretty delish.
This review is for the tasting room only. Great array of brews. Some quite distinct. I am the point where I comfortably say because of experience and knowledge that their is little difference between brewhouse's IPAs (standard). As a result, you go for other styles for different taste and feel - in this case sours. As someone who does like sours and can say that one is better than another, I must say that Denali brews a really good sour. Unfortunately they only brew a small batch and as such none were available for growler fills much less in bottles. Overall, they've got some good stuff going on in here.
My husband and I took a drive out to Talkeetna for lunch at Denali Brewing and it was excellent! The food/service was great and (of course) the beer is delicious! I tried the Wassail, which is their Single Engine Red that was put in whiskey barrells. Absolutely amazing! Truly a great place to visit!
Cute little bar restaurant setting. Great selection of beers. The staff was friendly. The rice dish I got had some burnt part, maybe the chef overlooked it. It's strange they close rather early.
Family favorite!!! Try the single engine red for a consistant taste also sold at the local store (cubbys)
