We had my mother in laws birthday lunch at Valentines Manukau. The other building was a really nice place. Unfortunately, this is the most disgusting place I have ever been to. The staff werent too bad, but the place was so hot - there was no air con, windows and we were'nt allowed to open a door. There was a group of about 40 of us including young children and babies crammed into a reserved area. One of the kids had gone to get an ice cream, and found plastic in the icecream...for the second time, so they came back to us with a jug of coke. The food was disgusting. I would not recommend VALENTINES MANUKAU to anyone.

Valentines use to be such an awesome place, but things have down graded for years. I havent been to valentines in over 2 years because of the bad food. After being spontaneous and taking my daughter out for dinner all the other buffet places we normally go to were booked out. I made the decision to try valentines thinking things had changed. First we had to pay which should have been a trigger, then the food had looked like it had been out all day. The hot food was cold, choice were limited and food was not replaced. We went in at 1920 and because everyone else had left by 2000 they were turning off lights and put up the closed sign. I will NEVER go to this place again. Well at least the plates were clean and stocked up I suppose.

I am now retracting my previous good opinion of Valentine's Manukau. After learning of the disgusting treatment of a customer in a wheelchair. Treated in a very condescending, and dehumanizing way. My family will no longer patronize Valentine's Manukau.

Everything about the new building i don't like.. I feel its smaller now the seating close i dont like the food worse then before not much of a choice of foods. and a staff door is right next to the table we were eating at and we had move for them.. I just think the place is way to small on the amount of customers they are ripping off they should of made the place bigger not smaller

We had lunch here for a 72nd birthday celebration 15 people in total. The staff were polite, our table was ready and the food looked inviting. There was a good variety to choose from and the kids enjoyed making soft serve icecream cones. The only negative comment I have is that the soup was too thick for my liking. Other than that we had a very nice lunch and I would go back for sure.
