Great breakfast at lunchtime with properly poached eggs. Followed by excellent and gigantic slice of coffee cake.
What an utterly fabulous place in the vibrant North Laine area of Brighton! It is a lovely local independent cafe. Great looking menu (we had coffees and cakes - delicious!). Charming and scrumptious staff with great customer service - nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Mixed clientel of tourists and locals. We visited on Sat 23rd Mar in the afternoon. Can't wait to go back again to try breakfast. Oh and once you've finished eating visit their toy shop opposite which has many old fashioned and very creative toys and games for children of all ages. Enjoy :-)
Lovely food! Lovely cakes! Friendly staff! Just a brilliant little gem! Brighton is lucky to have a great place like this! London now?...maybe next door to my house?
been there for just few times and love the comfy decor and juicy smile of staff there, which offer me a good appetite. I'm considering have my birthday part there next month.
Tasty goats cheese and red onion tart. Too many children at lunch time though!
