Truly the most unappetising food I have confronted in years. Cod in batter that looked like a piece of deep fried brown carpet. The excellent front of house staff handled this very well though; they just looked at this sorry excuse for a meal and immediately gave me a cash refund. The bar staff were both blameless and embarrassed. The kitchen staff though; are they trying to drive their employers out of business. Finally, re drinks; a small bottle of Peroni for £3.95 tells you all you need to know.
I have been in a couple of times, trying to give it the benefit of the doubt! But each time there is something wrong. From not having half the beers on display on tap! I once asked for a lime in my drink and i was told she was too busy to be cutting limes as she had food to serve?! Surely you should be looking after the customer you are serving! Bad, Bad, Bad.
