With nowhere upscale to eat on a Sunday evening, we ventured to Kronenhalle motivated on the reviews found here. The Foie Gras and Kalbfleisch Gschnetzeltes, served in generous portions, were delicious the service impeccable. The only negative point are the rather high prices. All in all, a great evening, worth repeating.

Great for a slow drink in the evening
A great "old lady" of Zurich. Always worth a visit for a sausage or a wienerschnitzel. Very authentic atmosphere. Best after the theater or opera visit.
You should go at least once - great renowned art pieces and awesome yet expensive food.
I've only had cocktails at the bar, and while they were pretty pricey (even for Zurich), they were well-made and the bar itself is very classy. A Zurich institution, it's worth stopping by at least once.
