My wife and I decided to try Melrose Place for the first time today and we will never return. First of all the restaurant isn't finished, inside and out there are wires hanging from walls and missing finish. Beyond the fact that the construction had been left unfinished we thought the food might make up for it... We were wrong!! First off the waitress was very friendly, but she had no idea what was on the menu, she ran to the kitchen 3 times while she was taking our order to ask about items on the menu. We finally got our order off and our appetizer arrived, it was nothing spectacular but not bad. It was downhill from here.... Our meals came, without our salads, apparently they had been forgotten. My wife touched the vegetables on her plate and they felt like they had just come out of a refrigerator (not exaggerating they were actually cold) and her meat looked like it had been cooked 2 hours earlier and thrown aside till it was needed. My fries were room temperature and tasted like mush, and i took one bite of the fish I had ordered and nearly threw up... If I had bought frozen fish from a grocery store and it tasted like that I would have thrown it into the garbage. To top all of this off, we told our waitress that we were sending back our meals and she went to grab a manager, we could hear her talking to the manager who didn't bother to take 1 minute out of her day to come see us, and nothing was taken off of our bill. Terrible food + sub-par service = A horrible experience never to be repeated.
