Amazing food for the price and the music and animation is unique. Quite the experience!
The atmosphere of this place was AMAZING. It really did feel like a medieval tavern for hardened warriors. Everyone was yelling, cheering, and singing along with the bards. I loved how the waitress even took her time to make sure I had a great time even though I spoke very little/no french! She instructed us to yell her name like a Viking if we wanted her for service! We had a blast doing it too! The food was AWESOME! Duck legs, Boar back ribs, Potatoes dipped in duck fat (I think), we couldn't stop drooling over the taste of it all! Their special wines were unbelievable as well! I will definitely make it a habit to go here when I go back to Montreal! DEEEEEEEEELPHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNE!!!
incredible atmosphere, delicious food, very funny waitresses :) I have been going there from time to time for a while now and it never disappoints. Go early or you will have to wait a long time to get a table as they don't take reservations (first come first served). If you like Ribs...then you MUST try their wild pig (sanglier) Ribs...its the best I ever had. This is also a great place to bring someone who isn't used to this kind of atmosphere...they will always be surprised :).
Somewhat expensive, but the old-style french cuisine, incredible (if loud) ambiance and amazing and unique service makes this Medieval-Themed restaurant a must-see! If you don't take alcohol, you can expect a bill around 25-60$, depending on what you take. Big plus is the Tâble d'hôte being available for every dish for an additional 15$. Makes every meal a very good deal! However, if you are hoping a quiet venue, avoid at all costs. Constant party atmosphere with great musicians (a little of money will be added to your bill if they are present - not negotiable) who know how to have fun.
A so good back-in-the-middle-age experience!! Very very good meat and plates in general, original concept and it's a big show during the meal!! If you are vegetarian/lian, not for you...
