The Knot Pub
Reviews

Food!!! Prices!!! Service!!! Atmosphere!!! Awesome!!! Being from Vancouver, living in Ontario last year, and now living currently in MB, this restaurant was exactly what I wanted to find in NS. A local mentioned The Knot, so you know it's gotta be good.

Great place to eat in a great town to eat

What a great spot! We ate there on the long weekend.. when we first got there at supper time it was packed. We figured that meant it was worth the wait and waited about 40 minutes for a table. Our server (Sarah I believe was her name) was so sweet about it. She made sure to get us our drinks right away and checked back on us numerous times during our wait. The atmosphere is fanatastic, the drinks were great, and the food even better. Our server handled so many tables during the rush with such ease. Will definitely stop by again next time we're in town!

As stated by other reviews, the beer is good, not great. But the atmosphere is what makes this place. I stayed in Lunenburg for 2 weeks in February and ended up at the pub every other night, not to drink, but to socialize and enjoy. The food is pretty good for pub-grub, with portions that are on the massive side (a good thing!) The casual yet approachable staff are what I believe really makes this place. It gives the pub a cozy, not sleazy feel, and nobody seems tense, anxious to fight or downright obliterated. This is quintessentially the perfect small town pub.

Great food, great everything. I went my 2nd night in the area and loved it (Fish & Chips) so much, I went right back the next night and had Fish Cakes. Both dynamite.
