Had lunch there Monday April 21st. Service was exceptional, the food fantastic and the atmosphere cozy and comfortable. I had the fish tacos with sweet potato fries ( YUMMO!!!!!) and he had meal combo with chowder, fish n chips with brownie dessert. It was DELISH! I cannot rave enough about the food or service it was really fantastic!! It was suggested by the hotel staff where we stayed and are we ever glad we asked! Very much looking forward to having it again when in Halifax!
The service here could be much improved. We were waited on by two separate waitresses at the same time, and while one was friendly and competent, the other could have hardly been more distracted. She brought us entirely the wrong drinks for our children, and she forgot to bring the correct drinks when we pointed out her error (we never did get what we ordered). This is unfortunate, because everything else about our meal was fine. The spinach goat cheese salad was fantastic, and the large nachos are a meal big enough for two (and are very good as well). I would say though that the menu is a bit too small. Nice patio, great for people watching on the waterfront.
Where's The Beef.... Food not bad but pricey... Small quantity for what you pay. If you're looking for a place with value look elsewhere. .
The Pan Fried Haddock and the Louisianan , both incredible!
