If you like real, home made food FRESHIES is a wonderful stop. This Family run operation is all from scratch and the folks who make this place tick are off the charts bizarre and damned good at what they do. It is my favorite chicken sandwich in the entire world. (but sub the hummus for mayo). The treats are always fresh and sooooo comforting. They have a wee play area for children that is perfect height and just an all around welcoming spot. Don't go to Fernie without going to Freshies. Seriously!
If you like a good strong coffee to kickstart your day served by some feisty baristas, Freshies is your place. Try the breakfast wrap and the soups and sandwiches if your looking to get a good fill!
Excellent quality, great taste, gluten free, vegan option, reasonable price! What more can you ask for?
