The Landing Pub & Grill
Reviews

ordered a somersby cider. a danish cider. was served a glass of something colorless that tasted like dishwater. definitely not somersby or any sort of cider. sent it back to a bartender who, i was informed, insisted it was cider. sketchy bunch.

The landing has changed a lot over the years. Its much more "up-scale" now than it was ... well, relatively. Its not stuffy, just improved. And its different places at different times. On a weekend evening with a live rock-band, its a hopping place filled with younger folk and a busy dance floor. But on Sat. afternoon, its a quiet, mellow place to enjoy a delicious sandwich and pint or glass of wine. There are several screens, and its packed during a hockey game, but otherwise very accessible. Food is better than typical pub-grub, prices are good, there are daily specials, the chairs are comfy, and the fireplace is warm. And the staff are fast, especially by Ladner standards :) Highly recommended.

I don' know why pubs think they need music to be so loud! Food was just ok.

Since when is a neighborhood pub supposed to be a rave party? Can't hear yourself think in this place. At least the 18 year olds are having fun..
