Really, really great service. First time dining there and will most definitely return. Great atmosphere, great drinks! Waitress was phenomenal, order was served very quickly. (Dinner for three) food was great! 110% reccomend this spot!
My fiance and I love dining out. It is our "Zen." We have dined literally all across the country; from Toronto to Edmonton, and this includes stops in the U.S. On Friday April 4th, we were celebrating our "pre-vacation dinner" (I know....who celebrates a pre-vacation?) We do because were about to leave on our first trip together. Anyways, on this evening, we were greeted by a delightful young man, 'David C', who provided the best service that we have ever had the pleasure of being entertained. The young man took his time and made us feel very comfortable and engaged us in a welcome conversation. After requesting his manager, who was 'Mason D', we were further well received. These two made our dinner very pleasant and certainly enjoyable. The entire encounter is worth sharing. Of all our dinner dates, at many restaurants and other activities, this experience by leaps and bounds exemplified what true customer service is. All I can say is that, before we even had our meals, we already knew that our visit was going to be great. It is worth mentioning that the food was very tasty, and the dessert was..well...like icing on the cake (we had this delicious appetizer recommended and catered by the Manager). Overall, this group deserves well over a 5 star. They will definitely be having us and all our friends return to their location. Even though this is our first dining experience at Earl's, we do recommend that you go to this location and ask for David C, and Mason D. They are superstars and will make you enjoy your visit! Next step for us is to e-mail their General Manager to draw attention to this experience!
Great food, great staff! Very nice restaurant!
Lunch from hell! It started when our waitress "T.W."approached us and in a very loud, screechy voice said "I see you have water going already". Really? All WE could see were empty glasses. Perhaps her fake eyelashes glue impaired her vision. Although we were obviously having a private conversation, our waitress insisted on trying to engage us in an unpleasantly loud, shrill banter. We asked for water, and ordered our food. The waitress left, and made several trips by our table while promising "your water is coming". Once we got our water, we had a few sips and waited for our meal. Oddly, our waitress came to screech "how are you doing so far?" . Umm, drinking water? Really? The food came, and was the usual fare interspersed with a few intrusive 'social' visits by our waitress, such as abruptly reaching across my table for a glass before she asked if I wanted more water, and trying to take my plate while I was still eating. We asked for a bill - what a surprise. Our waitress gleefully presented our bill stating that "this bill is for another table. I gave them yours by mistake. But I told my manager and he said to give it to you, because you 'actually pay LESS than you would have". She seemed shocked when we requested our OWN bill. After continuing to claim how it would be cheaper to just pay the other table's bill, she finally gave up and brought us ours. All we could do was shake our heads when we realized that she was right. Our bill was 46 cents HIGHER than the wrong bill. We obviously missed on big savings there. Needless to say, we won't be back until the restaurant is able to attract clients by training personnel in providing good service instead dressing their waitresses in micro-mini dresses and sky-high heels for lunch service.
My husband and I went for supper - I am celiac - and had an amazing meal experience! The drinks were delicious! The appetizers we had reminded us of Mexico and the main course was prepared to perfection! Although it was a bit noisy from other patrons' chatter, being a busy Friday night, we were looked after very well and will definitely return!
