My sister and I both celebrated very belated birthdays last week at Moxie's Shawnessy. After our delicious meal and scrumptious dessert, Russ the manager ( who looks like George Clooney), presented us with a bill with $0.00 balance. We were surprised and delighted with his thoughtful gesture. Thank you Moxie's for the wonderful experience.
I went for a Friday dinner with my parents. Honey Garlic Sirloin is delicious which is recommended by the waiter. When my parents already got their order, I ordered the Sirloin with Prawn Lobster Butter well done, but it come as rare. The waiter took the order back to the kitchen right away, and I was offered a soup in the meanwhile. The food came out OK. Honey Garlic Sirloin tastes better. The general manager in the end give me my steak for free, because I waited more than half an hour for my food, which is kind of unexpected. This restaurant definitely care about its customer service.
Service was incredibly slow. 1.5 hours for lunch. Waited half an hour for the bill. Children's dessert was never served.
Great decor, nice seasonal menu options, and delicious beverages.
Very good food and excellent service! Was at a diff moxies this weekend and our server meant well, but was terrible. Was served by Ashley today, and she was great. Tried fish taco's today and they were very tasty, and a good sized meal, as most fish tacos are only served as appys I was very happy to see them as a meal.
