Radio Springs Hotel Bed & Breakfast
Reviews

Its abundantly clear that the current owners of the Radio Springs Hotel have no experience in hospitality. The exterior is scruffy, food is overpriced, not very palatable and they make you wait for hours!!! My main complaint is the attitude of the pub owner... what an unfriendly man! I've been there several times now and he only seems to get worse. If you want a rural setting with friendly service I recommend driving a bit further to the Glenlyon General Store. A least they seem happy to serve their guests.

Such a disappointment . The longest l have ever had to wait for a meal in my life 1hr 45min.. And when it did finally arrive it was cold. Very Poor service . Just to top it off the waiter tried to argue with us that it was all ok as we had an entree a small plate of olives ... It was a joke Never Again.

MUST DO! Lyonville, (10mins from Daylesford). Would be the most friendly' hostile' affordable' atmospheric place I have come across,@ the 'Centre of the Universe', and any UNIVERSE and beyond.... SERIOUSLY 1 OF AUSTRALIA'S BEST PUBS EVER! WOULD HAVE TO BE IN THE TOP 5 FOR COUNTRY VICTORIA' AS PROFESSIONALISM GOES OVER THE TOP' Great experience! See you there today for lunch' looking forward to Lazy Dawg music arvo....Great bands every day they open. 11/10 seriously! This is a must try place, but not too many' as I know once hooked, you will be wanting to go every weekend! FULL HOUSE! :) Gets full on great days real quick! seats approx 100ish... 11/10.

What a find!!! Had dinner there last night- hard to describe, but it felt sort of like you were invited to someones house for dinner, and a party was going to happen later. The staff were the best; so friendly and welcoming. I felt like going back again to say goodbye the next day as we left Daylesford! The menu was great too; not pricey and plenty of variety; I was pleased to see they also had ordinary choices like parmigana, and didn't charge extra for chips and vegies. Well worth the 14.5km trip from Daylesford, although we nearly missed the turnoff! pity it's so far from Melbourne or I'd make it a regular haunt. Music was terrific too; I hadn't heard Geoffrey Williams before but he's great! hats off to everyone there; Well done! couldn't work out to give a rating without setting up an account, but 5 stars I reckon.

My sister and i thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Radio Springs Hotel, so much so, that we ended up booking dinner two nights in a row!! It was most certainly the strangest, quirkiest, cosiest, wonderful and interesting place i think that i have ever been to. Our 'cockles' were well and truly warmed and our thirst definately quenched. The food was absolutely beautiful, thankyou Dominic!! The service both nights was tops. Thankyou to our sweet waitress on Friday night, i cannot remember your name...and to Julian on Saturday night... to Ken for taking the time to bother...we don't get that in Melbourne...the food was devine...the service was faultless and funny!! The atmosphere is amazing, i have never felt so at home anywhere other than at home!! Congratulations on creating something so wonderful...rest assured i will be making the hour long trip on a regular basis...and bringing my friends along to appreciate the experience with me!! Cheers, Lynda
