Pretty cool pub in a semi rural area of Adelaide. Really nice beer garden and great view over the vineyards.
My family and I went for Mothers Day and although they claimed they were packed that didn't appear to be the case. The wait time was quite long which seems to suggest that there were more customers in the other dining room. When they did come it turned out that my fathers meal had been forgotten. It took around 10 mins to find or cook his meal. My chicken schnitzel with ham, cheese and pineapple topping was tasty, cooked well and up to standard (they should use pineapple bits instead of rings to provide a better pineapple to chicken ratio). My family enjoyed their meals. Serving sizes were in line with other pubs and the atmosphere was good. My rating is really only low because of that stuff up with the orders and I cant justify a 'very good' based on a schnitzel. I would definitely recommend this pub to locals and others to go once in your life at least.
Atmosphere - It is a pub (if that floats your boat, you'll like the atmosphere). However, the outlook of restaurant section is pretty. Food was average. I had the seafood plate ($18) and it was, by and large, pleasant. However, the battered fish was overcooked and cold. For the price and considering it was only lunch, I could have got a lot better food for less money at many other places.
Not overly impressed. Rude staff. Said they had 250 booking for mothers day???. Dissapointed
Went there two months ago, very quiet Small menu inexperenced "Cooks" No Chefs....Went again , same slow service, still not a trained 'CHEF ' insight .
