It is a place that pool players will enjoy whilst enjoying a beer. Pub meals are value for money and the meal quality is to a working man's satisfaction. Patrons are normally multiracial and blend well with anyone most of the time. The usual pokies players keeps the bar till busy during the day. It is a good place to place a bet on the run. Friday nights is lively. I'm not a usual patron, although, I have lived in the area for a decade and a half. I would not consider the Queenslander as one of my favourite drinking hole but it is good to go in with a group of friends and it is conveniently close by.
Eat here all the time and we love it have never had a problem. $5 lunch is awesome lots on your plate and tastes great.
Food is great and the atmosphere is reminiscent of that old tv classic Cheers.
