Dandelion and Driftwood

Great coffee, nice breakfast bagel and friendly staff. Does suffer from that slightly claustrophobic "too small for this many people" thing that is getting common in schmancy cafes nowadays.
Quaint coffee shop experience. Everyone rather crammed a little but coffee good and service friendly.
A fun place for morning or afternoon tea - in a tiny suburban Brisbane house. We sat by the picket fence in the back garden enjoying the fresh air and our his and hers coffees (hence the name Dandelion and Driftwood). Clever coffee, seasonal produce, great cakes.
A small hidden treasure. If I hadn't been looking specifically for it, I probably would've missed it. The service was prompt, friendly and welcoming. The food was great and the coffee absolutely awesome. I ordered a flat white which arrived with an informative card detailing the name of the blend, beans used, where they were grown etc etc I thought it was a nice touch. Overall I was very impressed.
A mixed review from me. I found the indoor seating to be overcrowded and the decor a little over the top (it's not ideal to have to move the table settings just to see your company). I ordered the scrambled eggs with a side of salmon and was more than disappointed with the quality considering the exorbitant price. They honestly tasted like they'd been cooked in a microwave. The portion size was also considerably smaller than what I'd expect for that price ($6 for extra salmon that consisted of about 1.5 slices). On the other hand I tasted the sandwich my friend had ordered and it was delicious, and it was reasonably priced. Coffee was delicious (but $6 for an iced latte with nothing but a shot and milk? Seemed a bit steep).
