Nice an quiet as its not school holidays. Very good booked executive balcony room view to the streets.
Great Location, close to everything, but still quiet. Can't fault my dealing with the staff, and the room was fine in an anonymous hotel kind-of-way. The bathroom was large, with a welcome tub, which was short but very wide. I still can't understand how hotel design doesn't take into account lighting and power points adequately though . . . . in the bathroom there was no light over the tub, and no good lights to insert contact lenses over the sink. The only powerpoint in the bathroom was on the opposite wall over a towel wall. Manageable to dry hair, but useless for most other things. Without a great deal of manouvering, there was only one other free power outlet (ONE) in the room. Before even considering computers, mobile phones, and other electronic essentials, this makes travelling with a CPAP breathing machine an even bigger hassle. Also, power to the outlets is cut when the room card key is removed, meaning that you don't get to top up devices while out. A good little hotel, but lacking in some ways and excessive charges for parking and internet if you considered it.
Relaxed atmosphere with great service by staff. Food in restaurant lovely, and have a lovely buffet breakfast. Security parking is available for your car.
New and clean. I was most impressed with the food from the restaurant! A great place to stay for with a touch of modern cool in Wollongong.
