I wish I had read the others reviews on Tripadvisor before coming here! The service was shocking! We walked in on a sunday afternoon for coffee and cake as it was the only place we could see open. Wow the waitresses were insanely rude. Sat for a while, no service. We received a few glances and I tried to catch their attention but it was like they were trying to get rid of us by ignoring us. That should have been a warning sign. Then one of the two elderly women came to our table with a huff and asked us 'what do you want'. we had no menus, nothing. my companions ordered coffees and I asked what cakes they had. she rudely replied 'we have banana or.....uh......mud cake'. i chose banana. i should not have chosen anything at all because it was the worst thing ive ever had. It was hard, dry, the works. After dropping our orders on the table like it was infested, the left and ignored us for the entire time after. You couldnt even call it cake. We hurriedly left after i ate what i could of the cake (not much) before the servers' hard gazes laser beamed us to death. How does this place stay open? Who would come back after a terrible experience? If you're not a local, i suspect you're not welcome here. I dont normally leave reviews but this place was way TOO bad for me not to feel like I had to warn people. I will never return here and plead that no one ever go here. I cant say Im interested in stopping at lithgow again...it has left such a bad taste in my mouth....unless someone has a place they would recommend?
These guys make a great coffee. Nice decor too. Bypass Maccas and come here for your coffee in Lithgow
One of the worst coffees I've had. Burned and horrible. Not cheap either.
Food is quite good but service a tad disorganised.
Good family friendly service. Coffee satisfied even the Sydney coffee snobs. Lovely clean restroom. All round a good experience.
