One word: amayzing. Brekkie burger was of a ridiculously high standard. Great bread & ingredients. Excellent relish... $13.50 is a pretty medium price, not too high, but not cheap... I'd say it's worth it. I'll come again next time I'm in town. So much love put into this food... Coffee was fine too :)
best cafe Kiama! coffee made by people who know what they're doing, breakfast food is delicious and my kids reckon this is worlds best hot chocolate, made with real melted chocolate!! Short Black is a must if you are in this beautiful part of the country.

Their mochas are to die for! They line the cup with melted milk chocolate. I was happy with the service, and the veggie stack was delicious.
Short Black is good value for money. It has a huge problem though - the waiters and waitresses are HOPELESS. They always have been. Prompt service is unheard of here! The food is great, the coffee is good, the atmosphere is a bit lacking (its on a main street). Honestly, the amount of times things have been "forgotten" or you have to get up and ask about things is well above the average.
