We discovered Ki-Joia by chance on an excursion from Punta Del Este. Easy to find on the Town Square in Minas; a city well worth visiting. The Atmosphere is comfortable and casual. Our waiter spoke English very well, an added surprise! The best part though was the Steak. I love a good steak, and I would rather eat corn flakes than a poor steak. I ordered the Pepper Steak. $6 U.S. This, friends, was second to no steak I've ever eaten. In the U.S. there are only about 3 Steak restaurants I can recommend-and none are better than this. I don't know if this is special here, or if the quality of meat is so much better you can't make a bad steak; doesn't matter. The side dish was a ridiculously wonderful idea, deep-fried mashed potato balls. All in all, this may have been the best $42 meal I've had for 2 people.
