Now called Ana's on Main. They have great Tamales, even for breakfast. The coffee and Juice Bar is great as well. I would expect a place this nice to be downtown in a large city not in the middle of Evanston. One side note, I noticed they gave free coffee for people from the nearby State Hospital early in the morning. I asked and the owner said it was because she believed that no person should have to be out in the cold without a warm beverage. This restored a lot of faith in humanity because I think a lot of people with mental illness get treated poorly and I was happy to see someone take the high road.

Yes it's true, I am a coffee and pastry snob. I prefer Peet's coffee in the bay area in California and the pastries are amazing. I stayed over night here and was needing my morning coffee fix and found this place downtown. Good coffee, poppyseed muffin and service was good. Good place for a small little town. I would hope people support them.

Top notch coffee and service. I've had a number of their espresso drinks and enjoyed them all. I've also had a burrito that was really good. My only complaint is they limit their breakfast menu on weekends - when most folks can take time to sit down and eat breakfast.
