This nice hole in the wall has great food for great prices. Although the preparation of the food is slightly lengthy, the fullness you feel afterward is worth it. I feel the food quality may be questionable, but it's nothing to worry about I feel. And definitely try the tilly burger or the holy cow (5 pounds of meat).
Tilly's understated elegance was perfect for a Saturday afternoon. I dined on the chicken strips with coleslaw and mashed potatoes and gravy, while Dad had the liver and onions with coleslaw and mashed potatoes and gravy. The coleslaw left something to be desired, but we both enjoyed our main course. We realized later that evening that we were not served our dinner rolls that all dinners are supposed to be served with. In the men's restroom, the Marx Brothers' photograph helped to divert the eyes from the three piece toilet cover that was cleverly duct taped together. At $7.99 for each dinner, we were glad we had an Enjoy book coupon for buy one get one free. Bon Appetit!
Im a huge fan of the tilly burger, but i had the steak omlet and a beer for breakfast. Weidner had the soup. He ate it with a ladle that they gave him to take home. The Tilly Dog rocked my socks off! Turner wasnt hungry. He just had coffee, and loved it! Id definitely recommend anyone from moundsville or warwood to eat hear. The service was awesome! 2 Things I didnt like were, I had to add my total amount on my receipt and all the cups looked like they were from some persons house and they were all differrent. Check out the new location in Warwood, I can still smell the grease and rats from Don-Dons.
