Food is pretty good, bland at times but the price is good. Salad bar is also great. Service is poor and the place smells strongly of old people!
The food here is great! Don't believe what you read on Yelp. The chicken kiev is amazing. The service was fabulous.
Old Town Inn Supper Club, was absolutely wonderful. The food and service were fantastic. My boss and I were in town for business on a Sunday night, he had a Ribeye and I had a Filet. Both were cooked perfectly. The portions were perfect and the dinners came with soup and salad bar, of which everything was very fresh. Our meal was excellent, and it did not break the bank. For the quality of food and the amount of food, it was a great deal. When in the area, I will definitely eat there again, and would recommend it highly. We had already checked in to another hotel, or I would have stayed at the Inn on premises. Next time!
I have mixed feelings. I've been staying here for the last 15 years, and obviously really liked it. I think the restaurant food is solid for a Midwest supper club. The rooms need some serious updating especially the carpeting and mattresses. This past spring was the last time I stayed here and may truly be my last time. I am from Chicago and come to the area several times a year to go flyfishing, but have found other places to stay, and this is unfortunate because I really like the folks that run the place.
I've eaten there twice and left full the food is definitely delicious
