The staff is usually friendly, however this bars greatest downfall is always closing before the posted time. Most of the times I have come the bar is closed between 10:30-1130. Tonight I came at 11:30 and when I was about to come in the lights were being shut off. Online the hours say 11am to 2:30am.
I am thinking this place used to be called Friday's Bar. It had the best Sirloin Burger I have ever eaten. Thinking about making a weekend trip up there from Chicago just to try it out.
Dive bar with always the same atmosphere. If your under 40 and have any sense of taste in music or fashion you won't fit in here. Cut off sleeve shirt,work boots and carhart jacket seams to be the usuals atire at this bar.
This bar is always fun! The bartenders are always welcoming and attentive. This is a bar my friends and I always love to come back to!
