I was there for a Buckcherry concert. The band was EXCELLENT but the Elbo Room was AWFUL! It extremely hot; so hot condensation was dripping from the ceiling onto us in the "ballroom". The ballroom is a long empty partly tiled room, and the floor was dangerously slippery.They only had 2 bartenders working their main bar. It took over a half hour to get drinks! The make-shift bar in the "ballroom" wasn't much better, also with only 2 bartenders. The place ran out of water at 9pm., and despite the heat, audience members were told to, "drink beer instead." I love seeing live bands and often travel to bars, fairs, and festivals to see them. The Elbo Room was the WORST venue I have ever been in. I will not go back and I would recommend no one else go there either.
Hit & miss. Depends on who is working the bar. Sometimes a rock bar, sometimes a country bar. Drinks are stiff....if that's your thing.
Owner is useless.
