Impeccable service from the moment you enter the door. Cozy atmosphere, I felt like I was eating in a friends home. Food was excellent, I had the Cassoulet, which I've been dreaming about since we left. A great savory dish for fall or winter. The hubs had the Chicken fettuccine which is a garlic lovers dream. Lots of Gluten free options which makes me happy! We will be back:)
Beef curry explodes with flavor, one of the top overall dishes I have had. Great iced tea and service. Go early-no reservations!
We have been patrons here for twenty+ years.. We come back every year.. It is a treat just to be in a homey environment with great food and wonderful staff// If you want linen napkins,tuxedoed staff , aroma therapy , and all that other fooferaw stay in the cities.. the menu changes daily and is read from a blackboard . The place has a country atmosphere with no better food to be had anywhere ! Today is our 30th anniversary .. Guess where we are going ? We choose the Harbor View over all the steak and chop and fancy places within 100 miles just to eat here.. No more needs to be said..
Amazing food and great atmosphere
The food is amazing! If only you could take those wonderful chefs and place them in a more classy environment. The tables are too close to one another. They use paper napkins. Really? Your food is too classy for that!!!! The staff needs to take a class on 'how to act like professionals'. Standing around the bar indulging in personal chat is ridiculous. The entire restaurant can hear you. The hostess needs to treat people better. Barking orders at the staff because she is feeling under pressure is NOT okay. Those employees would have a great harassment case if pursued. Shame on you hostess! Why do you serve white wine warm? YUCK! Whoever is in charge of the beverages needs to take the class "Restaurant Beverage Management 101". I would recommend that you obtain an individual that can write legible on the black board so others can read it. The prices you have on drinks and desserts is way too expensive! Overall the atmosphere of this place kills the mood...the only saving grace is the food. I recommend you take it to go and find yourself a more uplifting environment to eat.
