Driving South due Illinois on I94, I decided to take a pit stop at Hardees and order inside. After 20 minutes of watching the only 3 other customers in the restaurant receive their food ahead of me, I am handed a kidee meal I did not order. 2 minutes later, I received my soggy chicken sandwhich and cold curly fries I paid 30 additional cents for. My only regret is not taking the food back and demanding a refund.
I came to Hardees there was only 2 tables occupied when I arrived. There was an employee with his back towards us and the shift leader was chatting away with him. We eventually ordered our food and it took 15 min to arrive to us. While waiting for our food we looked periodically in the kitchen and had noticed no one was wearing a hat/ hair net in the kitchen and one of the employees uniform was disgusting. Tables were dirty, the floor was dirty, counters were disgusting. The food was hot and delicious just an unsanitary/unwelcoming atmosphere. Another note to add, A lady had came through drive-thru and ordered 2 items and only received one she had to come back in to get the rest of her food. how convenient is that? I love Hardees but this is the worst restaurant I have ever been to. I will never stop back at this restaurant.
