The beer was top notch. Fish was soggy and bland. Went there for the fish fry on a Friday evening. When our server finally came, she informed us that they were out of cod, but could still order perch. This would have been nice to know before we were seated. We waited a total of 50 minutes for our food which was pretty bad. Would have had a better experience at culvers down the road. Will go back for beer, but will never eat here again.
Had the tuna steak. I usually like my beef steak rare but with tuna I would prefer it medium rare. The steak was well seasoned. The wild rice medley was ok, a little over cooked. Overall, great atmosphere food is good for what you pay.
THANK YOU for such a successful opening event for our association's Autumn Retreat conference! Enough compliments cannot be paid to manager, Doug Etten and his team. A true pleasure to work with for the months leading up to our event through the following day's final invoice delivery. We (you) have received so many compliments on the MBC setting, food, trivia, and service. I know everyone in attendance had an absolute blast and will surely be back to your fine establishment for another visit...our association hopes to do the same in making the MBC the go-to site of our event's opening reception for years to come. Northwoods at its finest! THANK YOU, Doug and the rest of the Minocqua Brewing Co crew!
Always a great experience; friendly service, great food, and the lounge upstairs is great during open mic nights. The brews are always fresh with a good selection.
We had excellent food and service for a sunday lunch. Food was excellent and everyone enjoyed their meals including my wife who is veg. Beer was good.
