Nice people. Not the most culinary forward establishment. Great cuts of meat. Wrapped in uncooked bacon and topped with canned mushrooms. Over seasoned scallops, yet cooked well. Told the lobster was maine but it came out rock and tasted bitter. Over cooked. Drinks were fine once we told the bartender how to properly make them. Tried it a second night, staff was fantastic.....food...well "ok for the area" is not an excuses. Anyone who knows food or is a self-described foodie eat beforehand and come for the drinks.
A really decent restaurant, views are wonderful, you can't go wrong with their phenomenon. Food is good, I don't know, I just traveled Vegas so there's no any restaurant I'd say excellent, sorry to HSSC.
One of the best restaurants in the Chippewa Valley- wonderful view and fantastic food. Great drinks.
This is an excellent restaurant. They have excellent food and excellent drinks. Sun - Thurs. they have a 2 for $29.95 menu. The 2 for $29.95 menu is pretty large with plenty of options to choose from depending on what you are in the mood for. Restaurant is very reasonably priced, and the service is excellent, and friendly.
Pleasant first time here. We started with drinks, hubby got a leine's summer shandy and i got a blueberry martini. Then we ordered cheese curds and our dinners. I ordered the Filet special and hubby got the king cut prime rib. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they had a soup and salad bar. Decent salad bar and good soup, also had rolls, garlic bread and port wine cheese spread (yum)! Our meals came and we asked about the cheese curds but they had been missed, that's ok since the salad and soup were very filling. Filet and prime rib were flavorful, tender, and delightful. I had the hashbrowns which were the standard greasy breakfast fare (but still good), hubby got the mashed potatoes with bacon and chives, he loved them! Blueberry Martini was OK, for my second martini I ordered the Dennis the Menace martini (blackberry brandy, Limon rum, and cranberry juice). It was amazing! Then we were full, but we'll come back to try the ribs.... Oh and they have docks so you can pull up your boat on lake Wissota, and a great view!
