The walleye fish fry was perfect! Lightly breaded & full of flavor. My husband didn't even use salt & he always uses salt! Scallops were just a tad too peppary, but still tasty. Make a point of trying their stuffed baked fish special on Saturdays & you won't be disappointed. Great food at very reasonable prices.
Very disappointing! We had the cheese curds which were undercooked, greasy, and tasted like the Friday night fish fry. I then had salad bar. The corner it was in was very poorly lit causing me to lean sideways so I could see what was offered on the salad bar. The salad was mostly bitters and there were very few toppings to choose from. So for the main course. The taco bowl had a ton of meat in it, which was great, but the meat was very dry and obviously refrigerated from a previous night. The all you can eat fish was oily and very bland and the potato was gritty as if it had never been washed. Lastly we had the apple crisp with ice cream. The apple crisp was more of a paste with a ton of oatmeal on it. The ice cream was freezer burned and we didn't even eat it. The entire place was very dimly lit and there were a number of very rude and distasteful conversations wafting through the air. We went on a Friday evening. Extremely disappointed and will not return.
.308 ~~ Whoever you are .. You must be a competitor because I have only heard great things about Billy's Sandtrap !! My family (a group of 24) had dinner there last Friday night and ALL of us were EXTREMELY impressed and satisfied ! We go out for fish 2-3 times a month and we all agree that Billy's Fish is the best !! Excellent food @ a very resonable price !!!!!!!
