They dont trun on the fryers till 9am.... The breakfast as ok. Dont think i will stop there again...
I have been going to this place since I could walk! I used to love this place it had great food and nice people. My favorite part is there chicken dumpling soup its amazing!!! But I moved away a few years ago and now that I have moved back everything has changed not all for the good either. The changed the decor inside and it looks great. For the most part the food is still good. But on 2 separate occasions I went there and had pie with my dad and the pies tasted like they had forgotten to add sugar! I had a rhubarb pie the first time and thought maybe it was supposed to be sour. Then I had a peach pie the second time and I was shocked when that was just as sour. I had my dad taste it to see if it was just me and he agreed it was way to sour. I told them It was sour and tasted like they forgot to add sugar and that was the 2nd time it had happened. All the waitress said was Sorry, and walked away! I was very upset. Also if you ever go to eat here watch out for the boss, you can tell who she is by the cold stare she gives all her customers and the way she walks around with her nose in the air like she is better than all her other customers. For the most part all the waitress's are great. But the only time i got to this place is when I want the soup. Other than that this place isn't worth your time. plus if you get soda like most of us make sure you ask for no ice other wise they will pack your glass with ice so you only end up with like 4oz of soda and then when you want a refill they charge you again!!! This place has simply gone down hill in several ways since the new owner BJ has taken over. In my opinion at this rate she is going to run what was once a great restaurant into the ground.
Great service... Great conversation.. huge coffee cups...and awesome food.
